Redsecta 10th Year Anniversary: Free 6 song EP Mastering

10 years ago this year, I launched redsecta.com to the world with a simple idea: Provide the most professional mixing and mastering services to the Hip Hop community, and give this genre of music the same kind of “audiophiliac” attention to quality and detail that is given to any other genre of music.

One thing that I’ve learned in the last 10+ years is that the final sound quality of a project depends primarily on the recordings and mixes prior to mastering. Often times, the advice of a Mastering Engineer early during the recording and mixing stages of a project can help the final masters sound even better, so on behalf of all my clients from the last 10 years, I will be mastering one 6-track project completely free, as well as offer advice (if needed) on the recordings, as well as:

• Listen to the mixes and make suggestions if needed, on making them optimal for mastering.
• Custom Mastering (the correct term for signal processing used during the mastering stage) of the mixes, including high definition 24 bit files, as well as 320kbps CBR MP3s.
• Red Book Certified Pre-Master Discs that include CD-TEXT metadata (Album, Artist and Song names)
• BLER (Block Error Rate) report in .pdf format (which shows more data details about your CDs than you probably care to know)

Now the fun requirements for this offer:

The project to be chosen for this offer should meet as much of the following criteria as possible:

• Can be re-recorded if needed (in the event we find out recordings have been clipped or distorted).
• Mixes are multitrack recordings (2 track MP3 instrumentals will not be considered)
• Mixes can be edited
